Do you ever feel like you have been let down, perhaps rejected by loved ones,

maybe dropped by family or friends? What do we do about this feeling of rejection?

In our story today in 2nd Samuel, Chapter 9, we see a perfect picture of this situation.

The story is about a guy who was dropped as a young child.

As a result of being dropped, he has been crippled his whole life.

Let's now join Pastor John

as we begin this story and see how we can

overcome the trauma of being dropped.

Second Samuel Chapter 9.

At this time in the story of David,

he has been in power, he has been on the throne

for approximately 15 years. And one day as we come to this

story here in chapter 9 it would seem as though he was reminiscing a bit

about his remarkable rise to power.

I don't know what jarred his memory. I don't know what stirred him in that way.
