Hello and a very warm welcome to film stories with Simon Brew.

I am Simon Brew.

It's all you need to know

about me. The aim of the podcast, well, it's here to talk of the stories of films. Title gives that

away. I tend to talk about development stories, production stories, behind the scenes stories,

bits and bowls really that go to make the films that we know and sometimes love, just that,

the films that we know and sometimes love. This particular episode is one of my

occasional specials where I get to talk to the creators behind an upcoming or new movie. In this case,

I'm talking to the producer and the director of the new music documentary, The Beegies, How Can You Mend a

Broken Heart? So I'm going to be talking to Frank

Marshall, who's directed the film, and you know him from producing an awful lot of films for

Stephen Spielberg. I also know him for directing films like arachnophobia, Congo, Congo, I get to that

at some point, and alive. Also, on this particular chat is producer Nigel Sinclair.
