Hi people, this is Rich, the bedtime stories narrator, and I just want to take this opportunity to give you a quick update with regards to the podcast and explain our recent absence.

And I apologize for the radio silence. I would have explained at the time, but I just wasn't in a position to do that.

So this is what this message is for.

Now, before we begin, I just want to address a common misconception regarding bedtime stories,

and I see it in the comments all the time that there are many people out there who believe

bedtime stories was bought out by Ballin Studios.

Now, I can categorically say that is and never has

been the case, especially regarding the YouTube channel, which has always remained completely

independent. No IP has ever been sold, no ownership rights have ever been transferred.

The best way to describe the situation is a

partnership in the same way that a band or musical artist has a partnership with a studio that

they're signed up to. Now, the reason I mention this is because that partnership has now

come to an end and bedtime stories will be moving forward completely

independently. So I hope that explains the absence. There were many technical things that we needed

to work out in terms of the RSS feed and transferring that to a new distributor as well as

our strategy going forward. Now since we relaunched the podcast in 2023, I've always

been monitoring the comments and taking on board your feedback with regards to possible

improvements or story ideas, etc., etc. And one of the most common complaints I see is about the

volume of adverts. The thing with advertising

is it's the only way that we are able to make any money. Now, I gave up my position as a

marketing executive for a big faceless global corporation many years ago so that I could do this

full time. It is my only source of income. It is the only way I can
