For anyone that remembers this scene from Salem's Lot,

Salem's Lot where a creepy ghost boy floats at a window. And if you're familiar

with this scene, then this next story is for you. When I was in middle school, one of my best friends was the class clown of our grade.

He was constantly getting into trouble for disrupting the class and pulling pranks on people.

It seemed like he would do almost anything to get a laugh.

So when he one day told me that his house was haunted, it wasn't the easiest thing to believe.

I love ghost stories and everything spooky now as an adult, but when I was growing up, I was

pretty hesitant with that kind of thing. Being raised in a religious household, I was warned

against interacting with anything

in the horror category, as it was demonic and evil, and would attach itself to you if you opened the door

for it. I remember really wanting to watch ghost adventures with Zach Bagan's, but knowing that

if I did it at my house, I would get a lecture for my parents about how we weren't supposed to be
