Have you ever fantasized about going to school in an old haunted building filled with bats and ghosts and questionable tunnels?

0:17.7

I have a story for you. I have a story for you. I'm haunted by the mansion I grew up across the street from.

0:44.5

I grew up in the middle of nowhere in the Appalachian Mountains, and across the street from my house was my preschool through eighth grade school.

0:52.3

It was originally built by this man named John C.C. Mayo.

0:56.3

My mom was the principal of the school, so we had access to the building whenever.

1:01.7

It was essentially an extension of my house.

1:03.7

It was a 30,000 square foot mansion with 40 plus rooms.

1:40.2

rest of the evening finding the bats and getting them out of the building. The next morning, when I went to go help my mom in her classroom, we entered through the side

1:48.6

entrance of the school and there were at least 15 bats hanging on the steps that we had walk up.

1:54.5

So I got my gloves and started getting the bats and afterwards I went up to the attic with my

1:59.0

mom to find out what window we'd missed.

2:07.2

All of the windows were closed, except the window that we had nailed shut the day before,

2:13.0

which was open again. And laying on the window sill was the same nail my mom had nailed in the day before, except now it was perfectly straight. Another weird time was when I was in sixth grade.

2:19.3

I left my classroom and went to the third floor of the building to go to a bathroom that was never used on that day

2:24.3

because there weren't any active classes on the floor then.
