In today's episode, I'm going to be talking you through cleaning your room, and we're actually going to get to the

surfaces of the room. This isn't a time for deep decluttering an organization. We're going to

quickly get your room clean and then clean those important surfaces. But I'm also going to be

talking about mindset. I'm going to give you a new perspective on housework

that I think could really help you. So let's get right into the episode. Now, since this is a

clean-along, you're going to need some supplies. You may need to pop in some earbuds and stick

the phone in your pocket, or maybe you can prop it up nearby.

But I'm expecting you to get up and clean along with this episode.

Of course, there's no right or wrong way to listen to this podcast.

Maybe you like to listen to it ahead of time for motivation but I know a lot of you are cleaning along

so what you're going to need for this project is a microfiber cloth a glass cleaning spray

a dusting spray a rag something to put trash in waistbasket or bag, and maybe a box or basket for things that

need to get relocated elsewhere in your home. Okay, this is a no-nonsense, distraction-free room

cleaning session. For some of us, we have a lot on our plate, and sometimes our bedroom is the last

thing we get to. Or maybe you're listening to this and you're a teenager or a child who your

main responsibility is cleaning your room. Either way, cleaning the room can be a challenge

because sometimes our rooms can get really

messy. And then what happens is we don't end up dusting surfaces and washing windows. I want to

make sure you get down to those surfaces in this episode. So once you have your supplies together, the first step, and this is going to give

you just a quick win, is to make your bed. Now, maybe you want to quickly change your sheets,

or if you've washed your bedding recently, maybe you just want to quickly make your bed but definitely get your your bed made before
