| 1:02.1 | all related to love, happiness, and success. And, you know, I was thinking recently that I can't remember, you know, how many times I've said on this show, things like, no one teaches you |

| 1:13.0 | about it or no one teaches you how to be a happy person these are all skills and strategies that |
| 1:20.9 | we are all individually responsible for learning over time in order to be a mentally and emotionally |

| 1:30.4 | And there is education and investment into developing these abilities, like through couples |
| 1:37.3 | counseling or through individual therapy or coaching to really help you learn and develop |
| 1:43.8 | these aspects of yourself to help you |
| 1:46.0 | achieve these important personal goals, right? |
| 1:49.7 | And I was reflecting recently, especially in light of, you know, this sort of new, new |
| 1:56.9 | tide, new awareness in our country, in our culture about the impact and legacy of racism |
| 2:04.0 | in our society. And I think what I've also been hearing from everyone from clients to personal |
| 2:10.6 | friends, to family members, to colleagues is a real desire, particularly in white people, to do something to help and to be a force of good |
| 2:24.1 | in the world that is an effective way of beginning to really and meaningfully solve some of the |
| 2:32.7 | destructive racist patterns that we see in our culture. |
| 2:38.8 | And, you know, nobody teaches you how to have relationships, right? |
| 2:43.0 | But certainly, at least when it comes to white culture, there is zero conversation about how to develop a healthy white racial identity |
