Hi, I'm Nancy DeMoss Walgamuth, and you're listening to Revive Our Hearts. This week, we've

been looking at the life of Stephen, an important leader in the early New Testament church.

And today we're going to open the book of Acts and consider two more qualities, characteristics

in his life, that we want to be true in our lives, too. One of those qualities is being full of power.

I believe there's power that comes when we make it our main aim in life to please God.

And that's what sets us free from fear of man. We'll talk more about that as the program continues.

But first, let me take a moment to let you know about a need we have here at Revive Our Hearts.

The month of May is always important in the cycle of our year because it's the close of our ministry year and June starts our new fiscal year.

Over the past 24 years since Revive Our Hearts started, we have seen God so faithfully provide

what this ministry needed again and again and again. And that's such an encouragement to me

as I think about months where the income isn't quite what our budget is and where it keeps us

on our knees crying out to the Lord, believing

him to give what is needed. I'll share with you that since last fall, donations have been

below what we were hoping and praying for, and that means we're short on funding some of our

outreaches. We know that many of our listeners are experiencing similar challenges

due to rising prices or other circumstances. But if the Lord has blessed you and he puts it on

your heart to invest with us into changing women's lives around the world, we would be so

grateful for whatever amounts you're able to give here in the month of May.

One reminder is you pray about this opportunity with Revive Our Hearts,

we don't ever want you to take away from your regular giving to your church.
