0:40.4	uncomfortable. Because here's the reality. That is where your very best lives. So this week,
0:46.0	we're going to talk about influence. And so we're living in a world where everyone wants to be
0:51.9	an influencer. And the real gift is in the ability to influence.
0:57.4	Huge difference. It's a big difference from being an influencer. And I'm not knocking being an
1:03.5	influencer. However, we're living in a world of people wanting to be an influencer and not
1:10.3	necessarily willing to commit to the work
1:14.5	to build influence. So how do you build influence? First of all, influence is a privilege.
1:21.8	It's a gift. It's earned. Influence is the ability to move others, to lead others. You've built the respect and
1:30.4	credibility. You live in your word. You're a person to follow. By definition, influence is the
1:37.9	capacity to affect character, development, or behavior of someone or something, the capacity or power to be a compelling
1:49.1	force on the actions of others. Like, that's a gift. That's a privilege. And you earn that and
1:55.4	you build that by who you become. Leadership is a passion of mine.
