0:00.0	The Book of Acts is the book of the continuing Christ. What Christ began in the gospel records,
0:09.6	he continues in the book of Acts. In the first part of Acts, chapters 1 through 7, we joined
0:15.9	the adventures of what the Holy Spirit was doing through the apostles in the early church.
0:21.3	This work was primarily focused in Jerusalem.
0:24.7	The second section of Acts, however, advances beyond Jerusalem to Judea and Samaria.

1:07.9	We're returning today to Acts chapter number eight, and I want to talk to you about
1:11.6	becoming a gospel guide. Becoming a gospel guide. That's what a witness is. There are many names for it.
1:19.5	We talk about testifying and witnessing and soul winning and evangelism, but really it's just
1:25.7	very simply this. It's guiding people to God. Only God can save the
1:31.1	sinner. Only God can change the life, but we are seeking to guide people to God. And so, let's pick up
1:37.9	where we lift off in Acts chapter number eight. The Bible says in verse 25, and they, when they had
1:42.4	testified and preached the word of the Lord,
1:45.5	returned to Jerusalem and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.
