The Book of Acts is the book of the continuing Christ. What Christ began in the gospel records,

he continues in the book of Acts. In the first part of Acts, chapters 1 through 7, we joined

the adventures of what the Holy Spirit was doing through the apostles in the early church.

We're returning today to Acts chapter number eight, and I want to talk to you about

We talk about testifying and witnessing and soul winning and evangelism, but really it's just

very simply this. It's guiding people to God. Only God can save the

sinner. Only God can change the life, but we are seeking to guide people to God. And so, let's pick up

where we lift off in Acts chapter number eight. The Bible says in verse 25, and they, when they had

testified and preached the word of the Lord,

returned to Jerusalem and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.
