Well, hello, my friends, and welcome to the Live Inspired podcast Monday morning moments with John O'Leary.

As you know by now, we record these so that you and I in our

community here at Live Inspire can begin our days. That's today and our weeks in awe and on fire

with the burst of inspiration. M. Scott Peck has a lot of beautiful quotes. One that I really love is

this. We do not have to love.

We choose to love. Underline that one, my friends. We do not have to love. We choose to love.

And I've been blessed to see it in action. There's a significant gap between living from a place

where we feel obligated to perform and living with a mindset of

you's service as an opportunity.

And I was reminded of this through the simple action and the words of my wife relatively

recently.

And because last week was her birthday, happy birthday, Beth, we wanted to share her awesome

example with each of you this week.

It was early morning and I was exhausted after getting home at 2 a.m. from a delayed flight.

As I grogly reach for a towel coming out of the shower, I noticed a simple note that read,

I love you. Next to a mug of hot coffee on the bathroom sink. My wife, not you, Beth,

who does not drink coffee, had made a pot, poured a cup, ran up flat of steps, and placed it in a

spot that I could not miss it. Now, listen, her morning is hectic too. I'm not the only one busy in life.

She has four little ones to get up, lunches to prepare, backpacks to check, kids to get out the

door, a work meeting to attend. In other words, with a million things happening in her life

that morning, she did not need to put one more thing on her list. So I dressed quickly.

I danced down the steps. The caffeine helped. And then I kissed my four little ones and then their
