In this episode of the Podcast of Champion hosts Ryan Abraham and David Woods are back in studio recapping the first two Pac-12 bowl games with Oregon State absolutely crushing Florida in the Las Vegas Bowl and Washington State getting absolutely crushed by Fresno State in the Los Angeles Bowl. Newly extended head coach Jonathan Smith led the Beavers to an incredible 10-win season (including field goal losses to USC and Washington), setting OSU up for what should be another impressive season in 2023. Jake Dickert's Cougars have more work to do, replacing both coordinators plus several transfers and finding an offense that is capable of getting the ball down the field. The guys also preview the final five bowl games for the Conference of Champions including Utah's second-straight Rose Bowl and USC heading to Texas for the Cotton Bowl. Oregon got some good news this weekend when quarterback Bo Nix announced that he would be returning to the team in 2023. The Pac-12 quarterback situation is as bright as it has ever been with Nix, Michael Penix coming back at Washington and of course Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams at USC. The UC Regents approved UCLA's departure for the Big Ten but the Bruins will likely be paying the University of California at Berkeley several million dollars per year to help out the Golden Bears athletic department.
