Maxwell, and on the line with me, EFL on Quest, pundit, George Ehrlich, talk all things EFL. Today, as you'll have

noticed, is an extended podcast, and that's because

next week there won't be a huge amount of League 1 and League 2 action to chew over just two games

in each league next weekend. So next week's pod will be quite championship heavy. What you're

getting today is 35 minutes of championship chat, another half an hour of League One chat,

and 20 minutes at the end of League 2. So if you're waiting for one of those segments,

you can skip ahead. If not, enjoy this extended pod. It's great to be joined by my good friend,

my partner, you. I'm starting with flattery. I'm starting with a lot of love because, I mean,

some concern for me over the weekend that I might be losing you to Danny Cowley, who you

were working with on Saturday and who, by all accounts, you got on very, very well with.

Yeah, he was, he was great to speak to. It helps. He's, he's listened to a few of our pod so he kind of

knew what um you know why i'm about and what you're about which makes something of a change but

no i mean it was great danny arrived um at the studios on saturday and within about 30 seconds of him

sitting down we were pretty much engaged in in nonstop EFL chat for the whole

afternoon, which was brilliant because he's, yeah, he's someone who obviously still lives and

breathes EFL football. He kind of admitted that, you know, with Premier League stuff, he doesn't

really follow it at all. I was like, well, maybe you have to one day. But yeah, he was great.

And somebody whose knowledge of players in the leagues

and whose kind of tactical acumen, unsurprisingly,

he was just really impressive.
