Welcome to the Messy masterpiece podcast with Chad and Tori. I'm Chad and I'm Tori. She's my wife.

Anyways, we have a beautiful devotional plan for you today but something else is kind of

exciting that's going on. We are actually recording this devotional inside our vlog that's being

posted today. So meta. Very meta. Very outside of it. So if you guys are listening to this, well it

depends on when the vlog is actually posted, which is 10.30 Eastern time AM. So go give it a watchy.

A watchy. Okay, y'all. Let's get into this devotional. We are reading out of the Thrive Study Bible

as always. And today the verse is Isaiah 49.9 and the devotional is titled Beautiful Reflections.

And it says, I will say to the prisoners come out and freedom and to those in darkness come

into the light. They will be my sheep grazing and green pastures and on hills that were previously

the love letter from God says be loved child. I bring light into the darkness and release

captives from sin. You don't have to worry about who you're not or remain paralyzed by what you've

done. I will engrave my truth on your heart so deeply that it can't be stolen by the enemy.

You can be confident in who I am, the God who breathes life into what is dead, the strong god who

can rebuild what is torn down. I can build beautiful things out of ruins. You are my chosen child.

I want to work in and through you so others can see that you are my masterpiece in a reflection

of my glory. Love your heavenly Father. The reflection says, our God knows how to make the broken

pieces in our lives fit together like a beautiful stained glass window. When his light shines through

our stains, we become a beautiful reflection of his glory and the treasure of truth says,

to receive all God has, you have to believe all God is. I just got hit with like the biggest wave

of just like I guess patience. It sounds weird to say that almost but I just got this almost

picture of three-legged stool being made and you see how long it takes the carpenter to make it
