They give it away a Shea Stadium replica, the Beatles and all that.

It's also the one-year anniversary of another thing from last year.

It's the one-year anniversary of Hock Tua.

Oh, really?

Yeah.

August 15th, 2024 was the controversial Hock-Tua game. Oh, so this could be a Hock 3 a game. As you recall, Haley Welsh threw out the first pitch, much to the controversy. And then the Mets blew the game. They had a big lead against the A's and they threw it all away. So... The Mets like reverse grissed her because she pretty much went away for a while after that.

Fuck to it.

And luckily, it didn't derail the season the way I think some fear.

Like this was going to take the beauty of what was going on.

It was going to ruin the OMG, the grimace.

And even though they blew the game against the A's, they had a big lead,

they spit it up, it was terrible, they recovered and everything was okay.

So I don't know what that means other than it's the one year anniversary of that as the Mets bring

in Beatle Night.

I learned this from my program director at XM Radio 25 years ago. I learned a few lessons when I was learning radio at XM with five listeners. Yes.

Great host, the great program director. His name is Kevin Strayley. I hope he's still out there because the guy was amazing. One of the lessons he taught me is never look back when you're doing a radio show. You don't have to refer to the music when it comes back. Just let it play. If people get it great, if they don't, no big deal. Right. Don't stop the show.
