because we have these two receivers, Xavier Worthy and A.D. Mitchell, who are both projected to go in the first round,

late part of the first round.

They played together last year.

Prior to that, Mitchell was with Georgia for a couple of seasons and then transferred to Texas.

This is one of those transfers like we talked about where I'm not really like writing it off as a bad thing. I mean, he was playing

at Georgia. He just seemed to want to go to Texas. Maybe he was getting a lot of NIL money,

what have you, wanted an opportunity to showcase different skills. I don't know, whatever it may be.

But what's really interesting about their profiles is how they intersect, interweave as Mitchell comes over.

Worthy in his first two seasons is the deep threat in Texas, really high A-DOT.

His sophomore year earns volume at an insane rate, yards, excuse me, targets per route at a really high A-DOT.

I mentioned that stat weighted targets per out run where I incorporate essentially

air yards per route run and a depth of target element.

Worthy sophomore season is tied with Harrison's best year as the best single season weighted

targets per out run that you'll find for the guys that we're

going to talk about today. I haven't dug into every wide receiver at some of the smaller schools

and things like that. And I mentioned Malik Neighbors in his third year took off. He took off

to a weighted targets per out run of 0.80. Marvin Harrison's top two years were 0.85 and 0.89.

The 0.80 was still very, very strong.

But that's where Xavier Worthy's second season was, was way up at 0.89.
