Guessing lines we do on the Vegas Stats and Information Network on a numbers game each and every Monday, me and Chrissy, the tried and true tradition that we've done for the better part of a decade now.

It's a tribute to the old Stardust radio show of the same, really theme where, by the way, was Roxy Roxburgh back in the day, where we try to extract value for the upcoming week's NFL lines. First look at them. What I do is I stay in a cocoon. I don't know the lines. I give my best guess as to what I think they should be or will be. And Chrissy then tells me his explanation as to why he's putting up what he does. Sometimes I'm close. Sometimes I'm wildly wrong. But within that exercise, we hope once again to extract value. Again, some themes from yesterday to start things off. And the reason I'm starting this solo here is because our audio is a little

janky on the radio side this morning. So 98% of it's intact, but the first three minutes didn't make it. So I'll basically review those first three minutes. Just a review of week one. NFC West, all those teams won. NFC North, all of them lost. Eagles, dolphins, and Texans, sole possession of first place after one week in their respective divisions, the NFC East, the AFC East, and the

AFC South. One of those teams, perhaps not like the other. I'll let you decide which. And some other takeaways from week one, which we'll get into, because we'll go game by game here, and we'll review everything that happened yesterday on our look ahead till next week. But coaches seemingly more willing to

go for it on fourth down now in all kinds of situations, some to the good, some to the bad.

Also, no one runs the ball anymore. And as far as contests are concerned, well, the biggest quirk

of millions and circa survivor, 21 people managed not to get their entries in, and millions,

eight managed to fail to submit their entries in Survivor.

That will never cease to amaze me.

Ridiculous.

Giants at Washington is the first game Thursday night.

The Giants lose to the Broncos yesterday, and they do so pretty badly.

27 to 13. Broncos easily cover the two and a half point spread, but as far as the Giants,

Daniel Jones, 22 of 37, one touchdown, no picks. He was sacked twice. Six carries for 27 yards

and a touchdown, but that touchdown was meaningless at the end of the game. But a fumble lost.
