It's the Beating the Book podcast, dead of summer, early July.

It's a baseball mid-season podcast.

Thought I'd, you know, get off my butt and do a podcast here before football season.

This will be two parts.

The first part, a interview I did with Mark Bortchard, base winner on a numbers game at Vison,

where we go over what we used to call our Q2 stats,

if you remember our old baseball derivatives shows from back in the day on the beating the book podcast.

It'll be our Q2 review of five inning wagers, best teams, worst teams in the first five lines.

Thus far this season, accumulated units or units hemorrhage will also do proprietary first inning stats,

plus a review of umpires as well.

Our typical derivative podcast deal with

Mark Bortcher, that'll take place first, only be about 15 minutes, and then after that,

Jason Weingarten, at Spreadopedia on Twitter, also a point spread weekly contributor at Vison,

and Paul Spore from Fangraphs, The Sleeper in the Bust podcast, and of course, his own Twitch channel.

We will review our opening season podcast that the three of us did with Matt Vasgursion from ESPN and MLB Network.

We'll review some of our ridiculous predictions, some of our good ones, and we'll project forward.
