Not as much confirmation in advance per usual, but we're going to have a good show

anyway. I urge you, by the way, if you're not listening to my morning radio show on the Team

980 and on 95.9 FM here in DCN on the Team 980 app and the Team 980.com. I had a couple of

really, really good interviews today. I felt they were. Navy coach Ken Neumatololo,

who just continues to do the same thing every year. Last year was his only bad year at Navy. He's

nine and two this year. He was very close to winning his division of the American conference.

I just find the way they play football to be so fascinating.

And to sort of understand from him whether or not it's translatable into like a Big Ten East or an SEC West.

Like think about Rutgers in Maryland here in recent years, Aaron. You know,

they're non-competitive in that division. What if they went to triple option football? What if

they committed to that? You know, would they have a better chance? Think of what Navy's done when

they've played high-powered teams. They've beaten Notre Dame with Coach Ken. They've beaten UVA by a lot. They've

blown UVA out in a bowl game. They beat Pitt in a bowl game. Their style of play that

triple option football works. It's almost like the comparison, think back to college basketball

before they had a shot clock. I mean, it was dreadful college basketball before they had a shot clock.

I mean, it was dreadful to think about it without a shot clock.

But when you were completely undermanned, you had teams that would hold the ball, that would

slow the pace down, that would take forever on a possession and would only take a backdoor

layup or a very easy shot. And they would keep the possession count very low.

And they would keep the score very low, which would give them a chance.
