We talked about it last week before Hogue left, Alex and myself, but Khalil Matt, and then we got the Alex Alex with us.

Kalil Matt is gone, everybody.

Listen, there's no slander or hate on that man's name.

Unfortunately, he's been injured.

He still is one of the more dynamic linemen when healthy in the NFL.

But if you ask me, it was about time.

And Alex, we talked about it before we came on here.

All I wanted was a fourth, right?

If I would have got the fourth instead of the six.

And on my text three of my guys, I'm like, dude, if they could have got a fourth,

I would give them a B plus if they could have got a fourth.

But I'm sure, one, contract situation had something to do for it. Also, let me be clear, the Bears traded Kalil Mack to the LA charges for second round pick this season and a six round pick next year. All right. So that's what we got back. But unlike the Von Miller deal with the Rams, the Bears didn't send any money with Khalil Mack.

So you have to add that into the equation.

And I mean, I'm going to open the floor up to you guys.

For me, it's not a diss on Khalil Mack.

But when we were talking to Hogue last week, and Hogue and I both said,

we start talking with a second because we know we can't get a first because it's injury history.
