Summary

The Chicago Bears secured their first divisional win of the season to move to 7-3! The Minnesota Vikings had no answers for a Bears defense that picked off J.J. McCarthy two times. Kevin Byard accounted for one of them and now leads the NFL in interceptions with five. On offense, the Bears found paydirt only once, courtesy of a Kyle Monangai rushing TD. With the Bears leading 16-3 after the Monangai score and three Cairo Santos field goals, the Vikings answered with a Jordan Mason rushing TD. A missed field goal by Santos gave the Vikings the ball back in the fourth quarter. In the final two minutes, Minnesota controlled the clock and drove down the field, capped off by a touchdown by Jordan Addison. The Bears had one last gasp with three timeouts and 50 seconds on the clock after a massive return by Devin Duvernay. Cairo Santos connected on a 48-yard field goal to win the game! Join Adam Hoge, Mark Carman and Greg Braggs Jr., with appearances from former Chicago Bears Lance Briggs and Corey Wootton and Patrick Norton reporting live from U.S. Bank Stadium, on a winning CHGO Bears Postgame Podcast! Use code C.HCO 365 at sign up. Wow. Wow. Well, never a doubt. And I got to tell you, I am, I have never been happy with the Bears won. Because I was about to get all the smoke because I was talking a lot of JJ McCarthy mess, which was absolutely warranted. That guy was terrible. That kind of jinks it to start the fourth quarter. Let's try to jakes it. Don't say that. Take that back.

McCarthy was terrible. The whole game. He tried to jakes it to start the fourth quarter. Let's try to jakes it. Don't say that. Take that back. J.J. McCarthy was terrible, but then the fourth quarter got wonky as hell. But there it was. The Chicago Bears did it again somehow, some way. I begged for Devin Duvernay on the kick return. Oh, and. And Duvernay delivered for everybody.

1:25.2

I mean, really in all three phases, I didn't think Ben Johnson

particularly had his best game, calling plays. But in a weird way, and we're sitting there if you're

1:35.9

watching the watch along, when the Vikings got down into the red zone, I said to you guys,

1:41.2
