It's rarely put in a crate these days at his age.

And I am so excited to preview the NFC North today with longtime friend of the show, friend of mine,

recently moved back to Chicago, which is of course one of the teams we're going to talk about.

My dog is currently in a crate, but that's because he's not even eight months old. So he spends quite a bit of time in his crates.

Yeah. Lenny we got when he was three, so he was already sort of trained, but he does not respond well to being confined at this point. And I get it. I'm older, Lenny. I don't like being in small spaces either.

Carmen, the NSE North is a really fun division. I've talked about a few of these teams on my top 10 offenses and top 10 defenses pod, the Lions and the Packers on both, the Vikings defense. It remains a very good division, arguably the best division uh but the team i want to start with

today is one i haven't talked about at a while and like i alluded to this you are in chicago you are

from chicago you know this team extremely well uh and i'm very excited to get into it because it's

a new day for the Chicago Bears.

We'll find out.

Optimism abounds.

I don't know.

I feel like Bears fans are optimistic and they're glad they got their guy in Ben Johnson

and they're hopeful that Caleb can turn things around.

But at this point, they've been through so much.

They're a little bit jaded about all of it. They're not delusional. I'll put it that way. I don't feel like they are delusional at this point. I think we might have to agree to disagree. But it's not their fault. There's not a whole lot of in-season success that the Bears fans have been able to hold on to.
