temps in triple digits and severe thunderstorms. It was bad. There was a thunderstorm watch for the

D.C. area. National Mall had to be evacuated due to severe thunderstorms, but attendees were

allowed to return. America's Independence Day parade in D.C. was also canceled due to severe thunderstorms, but attendees were allowed to return.
