Pastor Chuck continues with Be Wise as we pick up in Proverbs, Chapter 27, verse 10.

Thy Norm's Friend.

Verse 10, Thy Father's friend forsake not.

Neither go to thy brother's house in the day of your calamity.

For better is a neighbor that is near than a brother that is far off.

Now this assumes of course that your brother is way down someplace and better to just go to a neighbor

or to a friend for help than go across the country to your brother if neighbor that is near is better than a brother that is far off.

My son be wise and make my heart glad that I may answer him that reproaches me.

A prudent man foresees the evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished we had basically the same thing in

the 22nd but you remember these are proverbs that were

declared earlier.
