Summary

Kenzie Brenna is an actor, creator, influencer and mental health advocate. This week she joins Jer and Bri in the beautiful city of Toronto to discuss all things mental health! After all, it is Mental Health Week! We take a deep dive into Kenzie's past and current struggles with an eating disorder. From being convinced that all of her food was being secretly poisoned, to committing self-harm we talk about the ways that Kenzies mental health spiralled for the worse. We also discuss how she wished the people in her life could have been there for her! This weeks episode is also meant to spread awareness about the new mental health resource initiative launched by Jack.org called Be There. Just talking about mental health isn’t enough. We need the knowledge, skills and confidence to step up and be there for one another and this is where Be There comes into play. For more information head on over to bethere.org now.
