Summary

Here's the problem with Social media........

A post on social media doesn't change shit for kids. Signing a document that cites you want to protect the kids is not enough.

The world needs more examples for children.

How to behave.

How to communicate.

How to act at other people's homes.

How to work hard and be a good steward of their resources.

How to work well with others.

Teach them how to be honest and have integrity.

They don't need to idolize and look up to sports superstars, pop stars, rappers, or materialistic IG monsters.

You can be the example.

When my kids friends come to stay over, I lay out the rules of my house and tell them if they follow their rules, they're allowed to come back again.  Violate one of these rules or core values, and they won't be back.

If you want your kids to walk differently in this world, look at the things you're doing that they're emulating.

You were put on this planet for success.

0:10.0

You were created to succeed, but the force of average is after you every single day, my brothers and sisters.

0:16.0

And this podcast is the one thing that's designed to help you fight the force of average and excel in every area of your life. We're glad that you're here. Man, if you go on social media, everybody's talking about the kids. We need to protect the kids. We need to protect the kids. We need to look out for the kids. What happened to the kids? We got to protect our youth. They're letting grown men in the little girls bathroom and all this shit, right? Everybody's talking about, and this is the problem with social media.

0:40.1

Everybody makes a bunch of noise and posts and they feel some kind of fucking dopamine for maybe some justice for whatever they're thinking.

0:46.9

But a post on social media really don't do shit.

0:49.5

A signature on a petition really don't do shit.

0:53.2

It takes personal excellence to be the difference maker.

0:57.3

And we're seeing all these people try to champion kids, which the idea behind it,

1:01.3

and they probably think they're doing something, but the idea behind it, great.

1:05.4

But we need examples for kids.

1:08.0

We need kids to look at us and say, I want to be like that when I grow up. Not just our own kids either. You know, when I go to the gas station in my Porsche or McLaren or Lamborghini or Hummer or whatever the fuck I'm driving, and the little kids come up to me, dude, that's such a nice car. Sit in it. Crank it. I want to be the example of what's possible for them.

1:28.0

Right. I want to relate to him. Hey, do you play football? Do you play baseball? I was your age once, right? Like, but we don't have people being examples for kids, really, you know? These, these people, they'll be like, oh, we need to protect kids. Subscribe to my only fans. We need to be examples for our kids.

1:43.7

What's an example?

1:45.0

An example is the person that when you were a kid you wanted to be. When I was a kid, I wanted to grow up. I wanted to be rich. I wanted to grow up and I wanted to be respected by people. I wanted to grow up and I wanted to be a boss. I wanted to manage people and lead people. I wanted to grow up and I wanted to

2:02.1

make an impact on the world. By the time I was a teenager, I could feel these things inside of me.

2:06.8

And now that I'm older, I take it as my job to be an example for kids. And let me give you an example,

2:13.5

like I have three sons and a daughter. And my three sons are at that age where their homies are coming over and hanging out at the house and everything else. And I sit every one of their friends down the first time they come over. I'm like, here's house rules. Here's core values. Here's how we operate here. You can follow these things and have the time of your fucking life here or you can violate these things and not be allowed over here again. But here's what's more important to me when you go home to your mom and and dad, I want you to live this way that you do in my house. I want you to live there too.

2:38.6

And you know what happens? A lot of these parents, they hit me up and they say, I don't know what you did to my kid when he came over to your house or when he came to your ranch or whatever, but I greatly appreciate you. He's a changed man. It's because I take the job of being an example for these

2:49.9

children very fucking seriously. Just for my kids alone, I take the job of being an example for these children very fucking seriously.

2:52.5

I'm just for my kids alone. I'm the example of the man my daughter's going to marry.
