spiritual songs of our faith and I love these these are so much a part of my

heritage so much a part of how I learned to know the ways of God and His redeeming grace was through the singing of these hymns, which is one of the reasons we sing him's.

I'm thinking of Colossians 3 that says, let the word of Christ dwell in you richly teaching and admonishing one

another in all wisdom singing Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with

thankfulness in your hearts to God.

And so many of these hymns that I grew up with,

some of you did as well, that are part of what helped the word of Christ to dwell in me richly as a child and

so often when I'm in points of stress or distress or need or I just need words to

express my praise to the Lord as As an adult woman, so many of these

songs and hymns from my childhood come back. And so I've really enjoyed working on this

project, recording 10 of these hymns in a CD that we're offering this month called
