professional and polite, even if you give somebody a traffic sums and it pisses them off, they still can't argue the fact that you did it in a very kind manner and what a nice explanation, having empathy, knowing that if somebody's upset when they get pulled over maybe they were having a bad day maybe they don't know

discipline as a cop in understanding how to control yourself and your emotions and not feed into other people's emotions.
