Now, not all of the moments and sayings in the life of Jesus can be read as a sequence

of events.

We have stories and sayings that we can't always connect.

But in today's study, we can see things in sequence which adds meaning to the story.

When Herod died, whom we erroneously call Herod the Great, he was really Herod the Great

Builder.

Her kingdom was divided between four sons, who each became tetrax, meaning rulers of

the quarter part.

Herod Antipas was one of these who ruled in Galilee and Peria, offending the people in

his kingdom, he divorced his wife to marry the former wife of his half-brother Philip.
