Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am blessed to present to you someone who has had a tremendously good impact upon me, sister Susan Piper,

who's been my spiritual director since 2003.

I want you to benefit from her wisdom and virtue and holiness and she will be giving us the

meditation today and I will take second fiddle with the second half of the prayers which I greatly enjoy.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit and let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

We continue to offer our rosary and our support of Jeannie Sherman as she grows ever closer to heaven, and also for the healing of

little Olivia Canoele, asking for the intercession of Pauline Jericho and I also offer this for my

uncle Ray who's 94 who's in great pain and he's isolated and alone and for all of those suffering from the wildfires

especially in Napa where sister Susan is from.

I don't know about you all, but I, every once when I get asked by someone, what's your favorite saying or what's your favorite Bible quote and over the years I've had obviously different

ones but I have to say recently one has really taken me completely and I find that that is now my motto.

And the first question I have in our meditation, reflection is this,

do you have one?

Be it a Bible quote or be it a simple human quote

that really is like a guiding star for you, something that helps you to keep focused and to be encouraged,

to give you hope, whatever it may be.

And granted, like I said, I've had numerous over the years, but there's one that I always say,
