This is the second run at it. The first one was a huge hit. This one's going to be even bigger.

This new segment is called Boring Heroes.

We did this to commemorate all of those ordinary people who in their lives don't get enough credit for the little moments where they prove to be extraordinary.

They may seem boring to everyone else but to me they are not. To me they are heroes and we are making them renowned.

We are making them famous. We are giving them the appreciation they deserve through this segment.

So this is round two my friends. This week's Boring Hero is Justin. Welcome my friends to Boring Heroes.

This person I was in Seattle on tour and I was eating in a fish restaurant and this wonderful guy kept coming up and he was serving my food and at the end of the meal he said something that I've never heard a way to say before.

He passed me my check and then he looked at me with a really friendly expression, looked me dead in the eye and he said to me, come back soon we love seeing the same faces.

Now what I loved about this moment is that it made me instantly feel part of something. It made me feel like I belong.

I've talked before in episodes on Love Life about social anxiety and one of the great ways to overcome social anxiety is to feel familiar with a place.

And one of the things I loved about this is he made me feel familiar even though I was new to Seattle even though I was new to this restaurant I'd never eaten there before even though I'd never met him before.

He made me feel like I belonged. And when he said come back soon we love seeing the same faces.

In that moment I thought you know what if I had an extra night here I would come back to this restaurant because this person made me feel like I belonged.

This person made me feel like home. Now people don't generally do this let's step out of the realm of waiters for the moment and just talk about business in general.
