The sermon text for this morning's message are found in Ephesians chapter 1 verse 15 and Romans 12 verse 12.

Beginning in Ephesians chapter 1 verse 15 reading through verse 23

for this reason because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the Saints, I do not cease

giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ,

the Father of Glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of

revelation in the knowledge of Him. Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called

you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the Saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe,

according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand

in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and

he put all things under his name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.

And he put all things under his feet

and gave him his head over all things to the church, which is his body,

the fullness of him who fills all in all. And in Romans chapter 12, rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

in prayer. Father in heaven, I pray that we would feel deep in our bones that our hope is built on nothing less than

Jesus' blood and righteousness.

There isn't anything greater for hope to be built on than that.

So come, I pray.

Give us your solid sense of assurance and certainty in this service.

Lord, we need you. we can't hope without you we can't see our inheritance without you we

can't know power without you we can't be constant in prayer without you. So please come and help us. I ask in Jesus name, amen. The phrase in verse in verse 12 of Romans 12 that we left out last time was the one at the end of the verse so let's go there

Romans 12, 12. It says at the end of the verse, be constant in prayer.

I passed over that last time because I knew that this would be the beginning of prayer week and it is.
