he that loves his father or mother more than he loves me is not worthy of me.

And he who loves the son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Our love for Christ has to be supreme. is not

you united with us in the way our love for Christ has to be supreme

even above those of our family members if they are not united with us in the faith

if they are not a part of that kingdom of light, our love for Christ must exceed

even our love for those in our own family. And he that does not take his cross and follow after me is not worthy of me.

When we get to chapter 16 we'll take up the cross and what it means.
