I tweeted something earlier about this concept

of being a problem identifier

and we are going to talk about in practice what it means to problem solve versus problem identify. Let's hop into it.

So to give you some context today I did what I call a a

CMO series audit with Sarah Taish who is on the marketing team at Morning Brew.

And for those of you that don't know what our

CMO series is, one of the sub-brands of Morning Brew

is a show that I host on a bi-weekly basis.

It is an interview series where I interview some of the smartest

marketers in the world basically just to understand how they think and how they do

great work and so the show has had everyone from the CMO of SAP to the

CMO of Sales Force to Matt Kobak, who is a

Twitter legend and social media guru.

And basically the primary goal of the show

is help marketing professionals make smarter decisions in their marketing career.

This episode isn't about the show per se, but more about how do we think about auditing the show on a quarterly basis?

And how do we use that process, not just for the CMO series,

but really any product, business, or brand within Morning Brew or beyond Morning Brew.
