Odell Higgins, he's Odell Higgins, he's an institution. He, the words, words

may ultimately fail me when I try to describe Odell just exceptional individual.

Nobody loves Florida State more. I'm not bringing you any unique information

here when I tell you things like that. Happy to see somebody like that have the

chance to be the head coach if are if only in a in-term role and really happy to

see him make the most of it and what I'm even more happier about is the way that

the general team responded would have been really easy to just not respond.

Would have been really easy to look at the roster realizing you're not taking

your best defense attack in a game of all games that you'd probably like to have

your best defense tackle available when you're looking at what Boston

College does offensively in the pieces that they have. Word comes out that Dante

Lucas doesn't travel with you. Lucas has probably been your best offense

alignment as a true freshman this year and just didn't necessarily get a great

feel for how the team would respond. Others in the media have pointed this out

and I think they made a great point that it was a little bit different this time

than when O'Dell took over in 2017. He wasn't inheriting a locker room that

you know had an easy an easy foe to point and in an existing head coach who

quit on the team quit on the program quit on the fan base and made it
