The Champions League since its inception has brought us some of the most extraordinary football that we've ever seen,

thrills, finals full of goals, sees saw finals, and it's brought about a change, a

complete change in the mentality of attacking play away from home,

a complete change in the quality of pitches, a complete change in how technique and players of skill are protected. In short it's a fabulous

fabulous creature. Are there blemishes that could be corrected? Yeah there are, but

it's fantastic that it's back. But is it back in the right way?
