In BBC OS conversations we bring people together to discuss what's happening around the world.

As time it's conversations with Libyans both at home and abroad about the recent floods

in Denmark.

No doubt many of you will have seen the pictures from Libyan have been left speechless

by the devastation.

In this edition we want to give voice to a few of those who are living through it.

We've heard of families, a father who just left the house, a time came back, he couldn't

find his sons, his daughters, his wife, his mother.

It's really a capacity and that's the least you can say about it.

In situations like this it can be impossible to try to put accurate numbers

on the scale of the disaster.

Some estimates suggest that up to 20,000 people may have died.

That toll is disputed though, we may never know the reality.

Storm Daniel delivered 300 times more rain than expected onto the northeast coast of Libya,

causing two dams to burst and water up to 30 meters high at points to tear through the coastal

city of Denmark.

The ferocity of the water demolished buildings and swept everything into the sea.

Since that day, now a fortnight ago, the US team have been reaching out carefully,
