As the pandemic upturns everyone's lives, we hear from a hotel owner who exchanged

paying guests for COVID-19 patients and the musicians who continue creating despite

difficult circumstances.

I have had friends pass away from coronavirus so it's been really heartbreaking

but I'm trying every day to just focus on what can I do with this time to stay hopeful and

stay positive. Really try and hold on to hope that we're all going to be back

together again someday. The coronavirus continues to change lives and cause uncertainty.

Spain was hit hard early on in the pandemic and has had more than 28,000 deaths.

Their strict lockdown was gradually lifted, but now cases in some areas

are increasing again, which is why within the past week the British government added Spain

to its quarantine list. People traveling to the UK now from

countries on the list have to self isolate for 14 days and that's important for

Spain because British visitors make 18 million trips there each year.

The Spanish Prime Minister called it unjust, saying that

in most regions visitors would be safer than in the UK.

Something that's especially true for Spain's Canary and Balearic islands.

So when tourism is by far the major industry for these islands, how are they responding to

the latest setback? I've been speaking to Jason Bye who
