Man, I am confident right now looking at those college football playoff rankings that right now I know that college football frequently resolves itself that there's lots of attention paid to the potential conflict.

0:59.0

That can be coming down the road, but man, we've got some massive games going on this weekend.

1:08.0

And when you really kind of break down what could happen, the rankings obviously came out last night and they were unchanged despite all the wildness that happened last weekend at the very top of the playoff ranking.

1:21.0

So you still got Georgia, Alabama, Notre Dame, and Clemson is the top four.

1:26.0

I told you guys on Monday as well as Tuesday that I personally would have Oklahoma in the five in the four spot and and Clemson in the five.

1:34.0

Now, I think that's even more likely if you look at what's happening this weekend.

1:39.0

I don't know how Oklahoma can beat effectively their third top 10 team.

1:45.0

They're first one at home, the other two having been on the road and not end up in that four spot.

1:51.0

So maybe that's what the committee is waiting for another big win by Oklahoma.

1:55.0

But if you've got TCU on the resume, if you've got Ohio State on the resume and also if you've got Oklahoma State on the resume, Oklahoma would have the three best wins of any team that's trying to get into the playoff.

2:11.0

And so for right now, as a result, I think you would have to flip flop Clemson and Oklahoma now, which way that could change.

2:18.0

I'm not even sure exactly because there's so many different games at stake and let's be honest.

2:25.0

If Miami beats Notre Dame, then Miami would have a pretty good case to deserve to be in the top four as well because that would be one hell of a great win for Miami over number three Notre Dame.

2:39.0

And then obviously, like we just said, you've got Oklahoma hosting TCU and then the other game that I don't think is getting that much attention.

2:46.0

But that Las Vegas is telling us is going to be pretty close is Georgia going on the road at Auburn and Auburn is sliding in there as a top 10 school as well Auburn sitting there at number 10 and honestly, they have the most difficult lineup of maybe any team that would ever have to make the playoff.

3:06.0

But if Auburn beat Georgia and then two weeks later, beat Alabama and then came back again and beat Georgia in the SEC title game, I think Auburn would be in the playoff.

3:20.0

Now, that'd be a crazy way to finish the season. They would have to beat the number one team. Then they would have to beat the number one team again.
