Summary

In Spain, it’s a first Real Sociedad trophy in front of fans for 38 years as they beat Atletico Madrid on a penalty shootout to win the Copa Del Rey. Delight for the White and Blues, but how might this impact Atleti ahead of their Champions League semi-final against Arsenal? And what’s been the fallout at Real Madrid and Barca after they were dumped out?

The Ligue 1 title race could be back on after PSG lose 2-1 to Lyon. Second-placed Lens beat Toulouse 3-2 to close the gap to just one point. And in Italy, Inter go 12 points clear with five games to go: a 3-0 win over Cagliari means the Serie A title looks like a formality for the league leaders.
