I hate that we have to spend so much attention to the Federal Reserve.

We know it's possible to make money in the market with or without the Federal on our side,

but it's sure as easy when the Fed is down and out of the picture.

And they're not. Yep, we didn't get that today.

We got a Fed that raised rates at another quarter of a point,

and then said it would wait to see what happens and take action of needed.

It seemed benign initially,

but then we got a late afternoon selloff

with the Dow finishing off 270 points.
