off of the Bauer story. How much reporting have you done on it since he chose the Dodgers, like after the fact?

And how much have you learned since then?

Yeah, a lot.

I'd say since we were on the air Friday talking about it, there's always that fallout, you know, talking to the people once the air is coming out of the balloon with a situation like that, some post-mortem, like you said. Let's see, what have I learned since

that happened? Back on Friday, I learned that the Mets had offered Bauer $105 million. He signed

for 103 with the Dodgers. We learned a little bit about the process, which I gathered from

reporting on it during, but that the Mets really hadn't heard anything from Bauer until

they got a call around 2 o'clock on Friday that he's going to the Dodgers. They thought

they had a pretty good shot,
