school podcast here with my co-host extraordinaire Jeremy Cohen. Jeremy,

I will, we said it before we started recording. I will say it again now with belated

happy Thanksgiving to you, sir. How are you? I'm great, happy belated Thanksgiving to you as well.

It was a nice weekend. I also took the first three days of this week off. So back to work for me. And I saved all my vacation time because I thought, you know, sometime in like June that maybe there was a chance that I would actually use it for something. But now I just have a ginormous staycation towards the end of the year and some

days sprinkled in. I think I'm only working like 11 out of 31 days in the month of December.

It's use it or lose it by the 31st. Yeah, I can carry over a few. But so I'm doing that. And even then I

have, I just have too many days, which is great. So December is going to be really chill for me. I'm looking forward to that.

That's great for you. It does not work the same way in the Department of Education. I had a co-teacher the last two years that I think he told me he could have taken his like an entire year off.

And like at the whenever he wants to retire whenever he decides he could

basically retired a year early because he had saved up all of his um all of his days because they

carry over from year to year yeah that's something to look forward to for you I guess retire a year
