It has been another very unusual week in America.

Hard to know exactly where to start, but I think we need to start at the big picture.

Overall, the performance, what's happening?

Steve, I'm going to go straight to you. You have, you've been following some of these numbers

more closely than I think, almost anyone else on the planet, perhaps.

What's, let's hope that's not true.

For everyone, say, what grade are you giving America's performance so far?

I think we're at about a D, maybe a D plus.

I would say that we're improving as we go.

We started out so far behind, and I think if you listen to virtually every epidemiologist

and biologist and public health expert, they will say we really missed our window of January and February.

We even missed a, we were a little bit lackadaisical into March, and now we're scrambling to make it up.

But I do think, you know, there are, we're seeing in news reports every day, and the things that we

read and we see, sort of the fruits of American ingenuity every day and scrambling to catch up.

And I think because we're the richest country in the world and because we've, we have so many

technological advances that we're going to be better in a better position to catch up than many other
