Now first of all, there was an article that came out in the intercept the other day. And the headline of this article is General Mark Millie's second act,

multi-millionaire.

In the classroom, the boardroom, and at the speaker's dais, the former chair of the Joint Chiefs cashes in. And it has me thinking,

I've been very, very frustrated lately with the lack of accountability at the highest levels of our government and our military, especially people that have stars on their shoulder.

It drives me crazy that it seems like for the last 25 years,

generals can do terrible things and not perform on the battlefield and outright lose wars and yet somehow they fail

upwards they get promoted. In General Millie, former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, is a perfect example of this.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, now is a multi-millionaire.

The dude is going to be flying on private jets everywhere he goes.

He's gonna be eating swank, going to swanky parties,

eating top shelf food and drinking top shelf liquor and for what?
