glorious, glorious, what is it? It's Tuesday. Well, as you can probably imagine,

the last day has been absolutely crazy. I'll just tell you exactly what happened. I got a call

yesterday at about 4.30 from the Secretary of Defense saying that the president was going to announce my position as the assistant to the Secretary of Defense for public affairs and the Pentagon spokesperson.

And that the president wanted to do it himself. And I'm just paraphrasing because I don't want to get into the

intricacies of the conversation, what was a private conversation with Secretary

Hegseth. But I was, I was blown away by that. And, you know, the reason why I was blown away by that and you know the reason why i was blown away by it you know

because i i mean look i didn't go down to i didn't go down to um marlago i mean i i loved the

idea of of maybe getting a job in the administration. I also knew that lots of qualified

people would be applying for jobs. And, you know, I don't know. I don't have, a lot of the people

that apply for jobs like this, they have entire camps of people, you know, that have, that,

that are friends with the president's inner circle,

that advocate and jockey for these types of positions. And by the way, not throwing shade at any

of those people, that's how this is done, both on the Democrat side of the House and the Republican

side of the House. That's, that's how it's done. But I don't have that. I live on a small farm in Western Pennsylvania with my amazing wife, Commander Melanie, and five amazing kids.

And, you know, we've been doing a podcast now for over a year, started as a small small podcast has grown into something much more formidable

i mean seriously we've been only doing this for a year and you all have been amazing
