Summary

Many Christians have joined the tolerance movement, wanting to be known for their acceptance of others’ opinions and lifestyles in a misguided attempt to share the gospel. Why is this misguided? Because the life of Jesus stands in stark opposition to this brave new belief system.
A thoughtful study of the Bible will quickly reveal that tolerance as it is thought of today was never seen as a virtue. Why? Let’s talk about it.

0:39.3	about the mom strong international study that's going through the entire month of October.
0:44.0	We're studying truth and what truth is today. We're going to be talking about the false
0:49.0	truth of tolerance. Stick around. I think you're going to be encouraged.
0:53.1	All right. So if you guys have not been watching the news lately, let me just tell you an amazing
1:05.6	thing happened the other day when Justice Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court of
1:10.5	the United States. I actually happened to be speaking when this when the vote came down.
1:16.2	I was speaking at my women's conference this year. The theme is miracle worker, the life changing
1:21.2	power of following Jesus. And we were speaking about what happens when we begin to really see
1:27.4	ourselves the way that God sees us and we allow he is healing to come and invade every part of
1:32.3	our life. It changes us. And I was speaking to the women about how God views us and are the most
1:39.4	important thing he's given us as women is influence. We have an opportunity to use our godly
1:45.6	influence to affect the culture around us starting with our own families and our own homes.
1:50.8	And so it was encouraging to me just to see these women digging into the word of God. And I can't
1:54.7	remember what time it was, but I finished a session and one of the women came running up to the
1:58.6	front and she said the vote just went down. So I was able to announce it. It was kind of fun to see
