0:07.1	believing that if we're going to really understand
0:09.5	why it is so imperative that we remove our kids
0:11.9	from these schools, it helps if we have an
0:13.9	understanding of where we came from. I gave you a little bit of the history of
0:17.9	Robert Owen, a utopian communist who hated God and wanted to build a society in New Harmony, Indiana,
0:25.6	which would establish a state school where children would be taken from their
0:29.6	parents and indoctrinated into the ways of the state.
0:32.6	Owen's idea and his little experiment of course failed as most socialist ideas do,
0:38.0	but the ideas of socialism have taken root in our country
0:42.0	and have led to the model that we have in our nation today
0:45.4	which is based on the Prussian model.
