you know rob the pandemic and the last year and a half almost two years has caused nightmares

for the movie release schedule for everybody and everybody from paramount to universal to

Disney to Warner Brothers to you name it it's affected them and it looks like maybe the effects

aren't done because Marvel and DC or Marvel I should say and Disney have a big big slate of films

that we're getting ready to have come down the pipe but breaking news this morning

they've delayed almost all of them yeah almost all of them have gotten delayed this is of course

coming to us from variety we're going to read a little bit of an excerpt here from it

Marvel fans prepared a wait a little bit longer to see Dr. Strange Thorne Black Panther returned

to theaters Disney has delayed the release plans for several upcoming films including Dr. Strange

and the multiverse of madness from March 25th to May 6th it's actually not that big of a bump it's

only about probably about five weeks but at any rate Thor 11th under from May 6th to July 8th again

not that big of a bump Black Panther Wakanda from ever from July 8th to November 11th getting a

little bit longer with the Black Panther sequel jumping to November the Marvels has now been postponed

to early 2023 so that takes a big little bit of a hit as a part of the rollback Ant Man on the

Watts Quantum Mania was bumped from February 17th this is a big one to July 28th now here's

another big one it also affects Indiana Jones listen to this along with the deluge of Marvel

delays Disney has moved the fifth Indiana Jones installment back nearly a year this still untitled

film starring Harrison Ford as the Fedora wearing swashbuckling archaeologist will open on June 30th 2023

instead of July 29th 2022 Rob I was mentioning to you before the show started here's an interesting fact

with Indiana Jones 5 now being bumped to 2023 that means it will be 15 years between Indiana Jones

and the Kingdom of the Lost Skull or the King of the Crystal Skull to when this new Indiana Jones

film comes out 15 years Rob if you didn't know better you would almost think Disney is waiting
