Now, the blame for two malicious cyber attack campaigns in the UK has been placed firmly with

China-affiliated

state actors by the Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden today. One, an attack on the Electoral

Commission in 2021, where hackers accessed the personal details of 40 million British voters, and the

second, a series of targeted attacks on China critical MPs. Dowden, thougho insisted the government has got it all under control.
